Agro-ecological project. Permaculture in a semi-arid climate. Soil regeneration.

Three years ago, Loubna and Ydriss bought and began farming a forgotten and neglected olive farm. They had the idea of bringing this farm back to life without industrial means, relying solely on nature. They have no electricity, only the most basic solar energy. No water pipes, just their own well, which is fed by scarce rainwater and water from the mountains. After a dry winter, it is particularly difficult to keep everything alive.
Animals and special plants help to activate the soil, and thin water hoses bring the precious water to over 1,000 trees. Ydriss spent six years learning about organic farming in New Zealand and acquired the knowledge himself. In Morocco in particular, this knowledge is intended to preserve and enable a healthy way of life.
Loubna and Ydriss work together, hand in hand, and only volunteers help out during particularly busy times. They are very welcome. Accommodation and sleeping facilities have been built, and life on the farm brings people into the HERE and NOW.
Their Instagram page shows their journey and their idea.
